Default Sync 4 question?

I just got my new truck yesterday. I’ve watched a few videos. I’d like to collapse the circled part of the screen and make the left part the entire screen. Is that even possible?

I’ve googled and watched a few YT videos and I’ve seen them drag the left side and replace the right side but I want to do the opposite and cannot figure it out.

Thanks for your time.

Unfortunately, the only feature that you can get full screen is the navigation map.

That sucks. I love this truck and I love the Sync 4 way better than the Sync 3 I had in my ‘19 F150 but there are two huge oversights, IMO.

The fact that they make you have the split screen and don’t have anything really worth having as an option for it to display. The passenger doesn’t need to see, or possibly care about, the eco stats of the truck.

The second is that the truck is blue in the screen and isn’t the actual color of your truck. The Ford Pass app recognizes the correct color. I wish the infotainment had the actual vehicle color. That might not bother most people but it drives my OCD insane.

It has other screens but the fuel economy, I usually leave it on the Nav map because the main screen is on something audio related and in some cases it's nice having that side nav up if you are checking for an upcoming road real quick.

Otherwise though, I agree I wish you could full screen anything. I suspect it's coming. It takes A LOT more work to create a flex UI that can expand to fill spaces like that and maintain the look of the buttons, text, etc. It's essentially twice as much testing for everything you display on it, and I imagine it just wasn't a priority when getting it out the door. I suspect within a year or so we will see it expand (literally) at some point.

I do Android Auto with Maps on the main screen and on the right side, the song info. Boring, but you get used to it.
I have been searching for a way to maximize and go full screen even before I got my truck. I will pay if anyone can figure it out.
