Default Sync 4 glitches

Lets talk about Sync 4 glitches.
I like sync 4 over sync 3. There shouldnt be any surprise there. Wireless carplay is great, when it works. My experienced glitches so far are:

1. Randomly wont connect to carplay, but will still be connected via wifi(as shown on phone). Attempting to make it connect to carplay will work 50% or more. If carplay wont work in this situation, I can still select the phone and play music as if it were using bluetooth.

2. When its connected to wireless carplay, sometimes it will randomly "drop out". It will lose the connection, then reconnect and continue playing whatever it was playing like nothing happened.

3. Just this morning, on my way to work only the right side speakers were working. When I switched from carplay back to sync and selected FM radio, all the speakers worked normally, and continued working when I switched back to carplay.

4. It will occasionally freeze up. But on the plus side, it freezes way less than the sync 3 on my 2019 did, and when it does its for a lot shorter period of time.

Thoughts on all this?

An IOS update caused many cars to stop talking to iphones recently. Apple is great at screwing up the IOS connections then fixing it.

As for other issues, you have a warranty.

Yes.

I mean…

Between the wireless app projection protocol, how iOS handles CarPlay, the limited throughput and unreliability of bluetooth and shoddy APIMs stuffed into Fords I have many thoughts. Id argue Sync 3 is better than Sync 4 too.

One glitch I’ve experienced is if I start the engine while my phone is plugged in the music selected in CarPlay will only come out of the phone. The only way I’ve found to correct that is to unplug and restart the truck.

The voice navigation I have to almost yell at to get it to work. Despite the fact that fords navigation is lacking compared to other options I shouldn’t have to yell.
