Often google maps come up on screen and only fills 1/4 or 1/2 of the screen, rest is black.
Yep, I prefer google map to apple but Apple Maps never has this issue.
anyone else see this? Dealer said it’s normal, lol
I’m just trying to find the key to make it stop or even reset easy. If i delete my phone and connect again, works fine but it’s a pita because can’t drive while pairing the phone

Reality is I could just use Apple Maps or built in nav. Google is so much easier plus I like live traffic on the screen

When this happens, on your phone open Google Maps and then force close. This will close Google Maps on the truck’s CarPlay screen. Now open Google Maps on the truck’s CarPlay screen. This seems to be an issue with something Google is doing in their adaptation to the CarPlay interface.
Thank you for the quick fix! This has been driving me nuts for awhile now
