yep. my grandmas alero had the ignition there, not a bad place place actually. my dads ram does too, but the key fob end is the key on those rams, jeep grand cherokees too

That's cool, I actually prefer that location over the column. More ergonomic, easier to see. Wish I could get a new 302A with that!

Nope, push button start is standard on 302A

I know, I'm bummed about that. I like my key, and would like it even better in the new location. Might hafta look into a 301 now.... of course, without the door keypad, that's not ideal either.
