Default Suspension question

How much different are the shock and strut mounting points between my 21 lariat and a 20 raptor? I’m thinking about buying the 3.0 fox kit for the raptor and modifying what I have to to make them fit. For the 0-2” kit no lift.

The kit for the Raptor is designed for control arms that are 3 inches longer. I don't think the version for the Raptor is going to ride like you think. Just get fox shocks for the non-Raptor.

Unfortunately they don’t make the 3.0 for the non raptor. I know the 2.5’s will work but I would like to do the 3.0’s if possible.

I would suggest contacting Fox. What I've read says the 3.0 has 40% more dampening than 2.5. This makes me suspect the Raptor LCA does not move the shock mount further out, as keeping it out against the wheel would mean you only need a small change, which I believe would less dampening as the shock stroke increases on the Raptor.

If you're going to install stiffer springs to match the 3.0's, that would work, but if not, you are going to work a 40% stiffer shock pretty good with oem springs. Best to check with Fox to see if it's up to the task.
