Default Stupid question-Active steering

I most likely missed the thread but, Forscan and Ford both use "active steering". I have a 2023 F150 I was thinking of adding heated steering wheel to, since the dealer forgot to order it ( long story). I keep seeing the active steering thing in descriptions, but can't seem to find exactly what it is. I'm now well versed in adaptive steering,
Is active steering part of the lane assist?
Thanks for the help

Active steering is part of the collision avoidance system. (a.k.a. Evasive steering)
In certain cases, the truck will try to steer you away from an object in your path.

Mitch hasn't been active since March of 2024.

So let's start again. Does anyone know the answer to the original question. How do I tell if I have active steering and if so which clock spring do I need for a heated steering wheel conversion?

Thank you,

Well, active steering is part of the collision avoidance system.

Yes but doesn’t answer any of the questions.

Thank you,
If you still need the answer to this I can probably help. I just need the last eight digits of your VIN.

Thank you,
Well, back when I ordered my 2022 truck, Active steering was a feature in high end vehicles that actually changed the sensitivity of the steering system at highway speed, making the truck a little easier to steer (something like that). I believe it was included in Platinum and King Ranch and an option on Lariat but not available on lower trim levels.
Edit: My bad, I was referring to "adaptive steering" not active steering...
