Default Steering Wheel Question

Just did the swap of my 25 STX wheel to a leather one. Have a quick sanity check question post install that I just want to verify with folks on this forum. I failed to take a good look at the wheel prior to doing this so maybe I just didn't notice this detail until after.

Does the gap seen in the attached picture seem normal? The white plastic bolts from the clock spring are seated in the holes but are are still visible of viewed from the side. Everything else is correct, I used a new bolt as recommended by ford and torqued it down to the proper specs.

Which model number did you get, I was looking on Ford's site last night at them and they have a lot without pictures.

Thanks
