Hi there! I recently purchased a 2024 F150 5.0 with auto start stop. I was wondering if any of you had a preference on a start/stop eliminator? I am between the following two modules:

Any help would be appreciated! The 4D Tech seems easier to install.

 

Unless something has changed with the autostop eliminator, your idiot light on your switch will be lit continuously, that is the way it was on my 2017. Annoying to me. Can't say if the other one will do the same. On my 2020, I just bought a tune and it included the defeat for the stall/start crap, and no distracting switch light.
I've heard where Forscan can program the stall/start to defeat as well. May be the better option, you can also make other changes with Forscan.

 

Only can speak for 4D, works on my 23. No lights anywhere but one "palm to forehead" feature I don't care for, it only silences the horn. The dash and the dinger inside still goes off, I can hear it as I walk away. So they did half the job! Jim

Thank you both! I know I could use FORScan but I don't want to risk ANY warranty complications. Fixing these trucks seems to be expensive, especially the LED headlights (I know unrelated to auto start/stop).

 

I got the 4D, very easy install, on my 25 the light is on the lower left dash so no visible light to annoy, also I had read on this forum Forscan does not work on the 24-25 models to shut ***.

 

I have the Auto Stop Start Eliminator on my 2023 Lariat. Wasn't hard to install follow the directions and video. The light being on doesn't bother me.

 

Just put this in my son's 25 worked perfectly, same piece and cheaper.

 

On my 2024 XLT 302a 4x4, I installed the 4D eliminator and it has worked flawlessly. Less than 2 minutes to install.

Highly recommend.

 

My 2022 was deleted right from the factory..

Same here on my 2023 plus they gave me $50 to not have that dumb feature.
