Default Spilled Coffee

Bought a 22 F150 3.5L Lariat back in October. Love the truck. Loaded up the kids and a 6 month old chocolate lab the other day and the dog knocked over my coffee. I did my best to soak it up but now I have a musty/coffee smell. The carpet hasn't even seen a fast food fry but put a curious lab puppy in the front seat and all bets are off. Any tips on how to get rid of that smell?

I went to the self-serve car wash, got the soiled area wet, used the powerful vacuum to suck it out, then keep doing it again and again until the timer expired and the vacuum stopped.

I'm sure you have an aerosol can of pet carpet cleaner for your pup's accidents in the house. Use it on your truck carpet. And, get this.

Like Jus Cruisin said, use some carpet cleaner from the house, or get automotive stuff. I would probably do a combo of the two suggestions and wet the area down with water, vacuum out as much as possible, then finish with the carpet cleaner to be sure it is gone.

Resolve is a brand of carpet cleaner that is fantastic for dog induced messes. I bet it will work well with coffee.

Anywhere near switches, spray what ever cleaner of choice you are using on a rag then wipe vigorously.

PS You owe us a picture of this adorable monster!

There are Army Regulations against coffee spillage - that puppy is in trouble!
