Default SiriusXM and Sync4 Issue?

I use SiriusXM all the time and have had no issues in my truck until the other day. If I turn on Sirius and then select a preset or use the tuner to adjust the channel it takes about 10-15 seconds for the channel to switch and the graphics on the screen to update. I don't think it's a signal issue as it happens all over the place while driving...If I switch over to FM/AM, works flawlessly (or just as it should).

I was trying to reboot using the tutorial in the owner's manual but it didn't seem to work? Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Mine is doing the same thing today. It must be a Sirius issue.

Same thing here. Ford better get this fixed before the wife drive it next. After all the problems we've had with the SYNC 3 system in our Edge, the wife is thinking her next lease might be a Buick.

I just picked up my truck today and it's doing the same thing. Glad I saw the post here as I thought I was going nuts. Thank you

Mine has been working fine. Today it’s been acting up. wouldn’t it be a Sirius issue and not a Ford issue?

Doesn't matter in her eyes. The only way the SYNC system doesn't catch the blame is if it's happening in all 3 of our vehicles.

With all the SYNC issues we've had in the past, her anger towards it will cloud whatever rational explanation could exonerate Ford. The SYNC 4 in the truck is the last straw. It we have issues with it then she won't get another Ford.

I read that the latest iPhone update 15.0 is causing problems with CarPlay and SiriusXM. Not sure if it’s the case with everyone but one more thing to be aware of.
