Default Side emblems

My 2022 Lariat came with the blank side emblems. Has anyone with this issue received replacements or given a timeline of when they will come in?

It’s been mentioned a few times in the last several weeks. Try a search and you should find something.

I don't see anything other than it happened. Looking to see if others have received a replacement from ford or what the process has been.

I have a fleet F-150 powerboost, and it was part of an order of 5. Out of the 5 trucks, mine was the only one that came with the blanks, but mind was the only powerboost in that order, so I'm not sure if that had something to do with it, or if it was build date related.

I asked the salesman about it, and he acted surprised. He said that he didn't have documentation on it, and that his service department is supposed to catch it, and must have missed it on mine. He didn't give me an ETA on them, but seemed to be telling me that the only way he catches it is if his service department does. So, if I got the story straight there, so you may want to check with your dealer to see if they are even aware.

From what I see in other threads, this is the issue that shut down the supplier of the fender vents/badges, but they're back online now & catching up. https://www.mlive.com/public-interes...ver-spill.html

Thanks for the info. Sounds like the dealers are in charge of this issue for those of us that got blank ones.

Haha......that salesman should be fired! How do you miss to notice missing side emblems on trucks you see almost everyday at work? WTF.
