Ok, so just realized/found out, that you need the XLT sport or Lariat to get the gear shifter in the console. Otherwise it's on the steering column. Is that correct?

Yes. XLT Sport or any Lariat501A and up I think. I'm pretty sure you CAN get a Lariat with the column shifter but it will be the base 500A. Otherwise it's on the floor.....so to speak.

Next will be console shift in a super duty
I would think you should get a flow through console with column shift (xlt and xl) on a lariat if
you can get a lariat with a bench seat
