Default Setting Question

When I start my truck remotely, I open the door to put items inside, then close the door. When I walk back to the house to get the last of the things I need, the horn honks twice. The key is in my pocket the whole time. Any way to turn off the honk? Kinda annoying for my neighbors and I don't like it either.

I can't figure out how to turn this off. I have a Platinum trim truck if it matters.

Thanks!

Look up the Forscan thread at the top of this sub.

Agreed -the only way to disable the double honk is through FORScan.
It required a free registration on the FORScan site and a $30 OBD II adapter to allow you to tap into the computer and tweak these type of settings.

The reason it's there is to stop distracted, it's not my fault people from getting out of their vehicle in a garage, leaving it running and consequently killing the family from carbon monoxide.
