Default Running Rear camera cable

I am installing a Wolfbox dash camera that has a rear camera. Yes, it can be mounted inside the cab, but will probably function better mounted using their license plate mount. Is there an easy way to get the cable out of the cab that isn't going to cause water intrusion issues?

Has anyone used this brand? Any experience mounting the rear camera inside or out?

I have a Rove R3 that has a separate rear cam. I have a topper and mounted it to the rear topper window. I bought a long cord on Amazon, ran from rear view mirror in the headliner, down A pillar to foot well on passenger side. From there under the sill plates (crew Cab), then under rear seat. If you don't have a topper thats all you need. If you have a topper, go through the vent on rear of cab, through the beds bulkhead and I hid my wire under my Bed Rug.

No topper, I just wasn't sure how to get the cable out of the cab area without creating a water intrusion issue. I'll play with it when it arrives, but I'm leaning towards using a license plate camera mount. My windows are pretty dark in the back; I'd assume I wouldn't be able to see anything at night if mounted inside.
