Running a camper with a powerboost
Read that previously you would need to leave the vehicle running, is that so?
When I replace my 2015 I am seriously considering a powerboost with the 7.2kw option. I would want to be able to use it to power my camper, would not want to have to leave the keys in it to accomplish this.

And with secure park, no one can shift from park without the keys in the vehicle.
The 2kW Pro Power onboard option is the one where you have to have the truck running to use it. All Powerboosts with the 2.4kW and 7.2kW generator, don't require to have the truck running to use it, although the ICE may kick on for a minute or two every hour while using it.
Not really "running", per se. It's in generator mode where it will cycle the ICE motor on and off as needed to charge the hybrid battery, which feeds the inverter. I turn my sync display off and the HVAC system off or to a very passive setting, and cover up the instrument panel cluster with a piece of foam. Lock the doors, and you're good to go.

Yep, I sure wish that there was a way to disable all interior lights in generator mode, including window switches, etc… at night it’s very obvious (to me) that the truck is on.
