Running boards

Anyone having issues with their retractable running boards? I have a 2022 f150. Loud mechanical noise on one when it operates

Have you tried looking at it to determine where the noise is coming from? Try lubricating the hinge/pivot points?

I had the same loud mechanical noise ... the motor gear had stripped, and this was changed under warranty.
