I'm having trouble swallowing $1,005 for running boards. Are there better and less expensive after-market boards available? My current factory boards are very tough, taken a lot of abuse with no damage, but still , $1K???

 

Is that factory paint? Can't remember ever seeing that color blue but I like it alot. I'm a fan of chrome so I would vote leave them on.

 

My xl did not have any. Found just what I wanted on Amazon. Power boards were way out of my budget.

 

I just ordered a Lariat 501A and my running boards were $780. The extended boards are $1005 on the build and price and the regular boards are not listed as an option. But my dealer said they showed up on his order sheet at $780 and that is what I ordered.

After market boards here locally were going to be close to $800 installed....so I opted for factory.

 

I wish I ould get the Sport Appearance Package with no running boards or steps.
