Default RT/AT Budget tires

What are the best budget tires around? I’m looking at radar tires as they were recommended to me. I usually drive on road but want something more aggressive looking. Really not willing to pay 2k for nittos. Looking to go 35x11.5 or whatever the closes metric size is to that. Thanks

What size wheel? My first suggestions is to decide on a size and load range. Then go to tirerack.com, simpletire.com, etc., sort by least to most expensive, and start reading reviews. After years of playing this game, I tend to lean on the "buy once, cry once" mentality for my daily driver and am willing to spend more for a tire I KNOW will look and perform the way I want for the period of miles I expect them to last. I've had numerous set of tires need premature replacement due to funky wear characteristics/noise, discomfort, trouble balancing, etc.

At the end of the day, most enthusiasts choose a tire with a balance of performance and aesthetics. Choose the size/load range and start shopping. For good quality cheaper options, I'd suggest looking to Kenda or Milestar.

Anytime you increase tire size, don’t forget the spare tire to.
