Default Roll after park.

Anyone else have an issue with your truck rolling several inches after putting into park? Mine rolls more than any vehicle I have ever had. Sometimes I think it rolls several inches and will even kind of bounce a little back and forth.
Is there an easy way to adjust or is this definitely a dealer fix?

Mine does the same thing, about 3 inches backwards. Have had it a week and did it since day one. My garage is short, so it rolls back to where the door would hit the bumper closing. Once in park, I use the parking break before turning it off and releasing the brake pedal. Stops it from rolling back

Never use a break.

But do exactly what Cbennii said.

Set the parking brake and your issue goes away. Some movement in your vehicle (3" is pretty normal) is nothing to worry about.

I'll do the parking brake thing but it is not normal to have to do that, been driving for 40 years and have never had this issue, also it sounds like it IS normal on the 2021. I'll eventually get it to the dealership to see if it can be adjusted.
THanks.

Ford's have always had that. I remember when I was 16 just starting out in auto body. One of the older techs parked a Ford truck near where I was sweeping. I mentioned that it rolled quite a bit. All he said was, "yeah the good old Ford roll after park." So I just assumed it was a thing. This was 1996

If the parking brake isn't meant for parking, then we're stuck in the good old 'Emergency brake' days..(Those days weren't that good!)

In the 2021 manual, Ford does speak about emergency braking with the parking brake. Sounds like it can be a bit destructive if done repeatedly.

I *always* engage my parking brake after putting the vehicle into park but before taking my foot off the brake pedal.

This! Especially if I'm parked on an incline. Really surprised this question has come up. Over 40 years of driving and every auto I can remember driving rolled somewhat when putting in park. Always assumed it was a natural play in the transmission.
