Removing the rear block?
I have a 4X4 with Max tow package. I think the rake is severe (42” ground to wheel well rear, 37.5” front). Looks like a two inch block in the rear spring. How would removing the block affect things with towing or performance. This seems an easier solution to level things out.
I did it and nothing has changed. The only thing that could be a problem is you load the bed to max capacity it would bottom out on the bump stops. You can change to the 2wd bump stops if that is your worry. I did the same thing on my 2018 GMC 1500 and loaded the bed with firewood and towed a 5x8 trailer with firewood and had 4 people in my truck and everything was fine. I never changed the bump stops on the GMC.
