Recall for current Gen
Pretty big recall, never noticed it mentioned here yet. Apologize if it has.
"Ford has announced the recall of nearly 185,000 F-150 pickup trucks from the 2021 and 2022 model years to fix an issue where the driveshaft may be damaged by loose parts. Heat and noise insulation panels could come loose and impact the aluminum driveshaft. The driveshaft could fracture, which will result in the truck losing power. The driver could lose control of the vehicle if the driveshaft comes in contact with the ground. In addition, if the driver parks the F-150 without using the parking brake, the truck could roll away."

Dealers are still waiting on parts (special rivets) before they begin notifying customers. Not a bad idea to take a look underneath to see if you are having problems with the underbody insulation dropping and rubbing on the driveshaft. Some have reported that they found the problem on their trucks and just glued the insulation back up.
Had it happen in mine in October before the recall. Made a loud, really obvious noise like cards in a bicycle wheel. Got 10 feet before I stopped. Folded it up a bit to prevent the rub till I went to the dealer. They glued it back in place. No problems since. Not a big deal.

The insulation panels were talked about here....I haven't gotten anything on my truck yet.
