Default Rain Sensing Wipers

Anyone add this? What all would it entail? I have a 501a Lariat. I am adding heated steering wheel and the new turn stalk I have has the auto wipers. If it isnt too much I would add it in while doing the rest.
Thanks

I never used the ford auto wiper but i used the honda and audi. For me, worst feature ever. Wipers stop when you are not moving. During icy season, they dont like snow and do not sense the slush on windshield. If i could take it off from my audi q5, i would. The regular wipers on my f150 work so much better. Maybe try it during a test drive before investing money into this.

I have not read of anybody doing it.

I don't mean to sound rude but if person is choosing to undertake that task they should have a good understand of what they are doing. Sounds like you may have the smarts but usually in those cases you know more than us.

Ford wipers don't stop when you are not moving. They work fine for snow and slush. You can simply move up one notch to use the regular settings.

There is a known company that sells a retrofit kit, so its not that far fetched. I have part of the kit, or parts, so wanted to see if anyone could lend help on the wiring side and know what needs to be added or not.

Thanks, Yep I have found that. I have the turn stalk, so dont want to spend that dollar if all I need is the sensor and wiring.

Do you not have Co-Pilot Assist?
