Default Question on FordPass

I'm approaching my first 30 days with my new 2022. As you know, the Fordpass system allows me to see everything that is going on with the truck using the Ap. Question ...... If I do not continue paying for the service, will I lose the ability to track the truck and to see the fuel, and remote start it? I assume I'm correct unless it's within wifi like the house or whatever. Thanks in advance.

I've had Fordpass since 2018 and I've never had to pay anything for it. Are you sure it's Fordpass you are paying for and not the data plan for the hotspot?

First, OP is in Toronto if that makes any difference.

Second, you're not getting any info over your home WiFi.

In the US, FordPass is free for life, although some of the features that the connectivity provides will have a cost, like navigation (again, perhaps different in Canada).

Thanks Guys ....... I do get home WIFI covering the truck when it's in my driveway

I have lost the data now, so I hotspot the truck to my work phone - so Alexa works perfectly and I can stream anything if I want. I was mainly just wondering about the FordPass AP and if I should expect those features to work forever. I was up at my trailer on the weekend, and The roads are still closed so it's about a 5 minute walkout and on Sunday I used the "START" feature on the AP and sure enough it worked and was warm when I got there. (It was a COLD morning here).

GPS Map upgrades are good for 3 years be default here. I use waze anyway off my work phone.
