Default Question on Different Prices

I was looking at a post where a guy showed the order summary for an F150 Platinum he built and at the bottom it showed three different prices. There was an MSRP, an Invoice and a Sales price. The difference between the MSRP and sales was about $8k. I’m going to be ordering an F150 Lariat 4x4, short box, Powerboost, nav, B&O unleashed, 502A pkg., max trailer tow package, 360 cameras, 20” chrome rims, Bed utility pkg., chrome appearance pkg., 7.2kw Pro power, Ford co-pilot 360 assist 2.0, 3:73 axle. I need to know which price is the one I’ll be paying because if I can get a higher level trim, I’d go for it. Also, what are the things you can’t get now (not available) and what kind of times are they promising now ? I thought I read one post where it has to be a 2023 model to get some of the features. Thanks guys !

All depends on your dealer's policies. Some dealers sell at MSRP right now because trucks are hard to come by. Some dealers sell custom ordered vehicles at dealer invoice pricing and add in whatever incentives that Ford is offering. If your dealer is one that sells at MSRP, I would seriously considering going elsewhere, maybe to one of the dealers here who sell customer orders under dealer invoice. You may have to buy a plane ticket to pick up your new truck but you will still save thousands under MSRP. Ford also offers special plans for employees, family which some dealers honor, other don't; so like I said, it all depends on the dealer you select. Oh, and remember, if your dealer doesn't sign your order, pricing is not binding, legally; so don't walk out the door without their signature on the paper.

Sounds like you are building yourself a tow vehicle?

Be careful, the truck you are building is not going to be capable of towing some of the standard sized (forum based) RV's out there.
Some will say to forego the max tow packages because you can't tow a trailer heavy enough to warranty the max tow package -saving weight and money by excluding that option.

The user was probably ordering from Granger? I think they are 3% under invoice. That is where I ordered mine from. 😁
