I used my Kubota BX23s to dig out this stump. It did a great job of digging it out, but just didn't have the power to get it out of the hole. I went and hooked up my 12K winch and popped it right out. Used the tractor to move the stump into the woods to make it go away. Front of the tractor got buryed in mud. No problem use the bucket to push down and back to pop myself out. Problem was I had the grapple on and it doesn't contact the ground enough to push the front of the tractor up. So I used the hoe pull my self back and the front tire sinks deeper. Along comes my truck and the 12K winch for the win. I have a remote to operate the winch, so I jumped on the tractor hit the button on the remote to reel in and it popped me right out.

 

How dare you, sir, use your truck as if it were a…truck!!!

 

I guess I get tired of seeing what oil to use or what wax etc. Sometimes I like to see trucks being trucks not mall crawlers.

 

There is an excellent demonstration that you need a bigger tractor. You can use the truck to trailer it home. Win/win.
