I'll be special ordering a 3.5L Super Crew XLT 302A High and would love to make it a Hybrid. Honestly though, I wonder how long it would take for me to make up the difference in up front cost vs. saved gas spending over the long haul.
The 7.4kw generator is pretty neat to consider though.
Buying it just for the MPG increase will take YEARS to break even if you do moderate driving, i know there is a thread on it. If you have a regular use for the generator then there ya go, that would be worth the wait to have.
My order was placed October 2nd and I upgraded to the 502A package on October 20th. My build has the max tow package and the work surface. It is still not scheduled for production. 1FTFW1E57MKD37102

I have driven both the regular 3.5 and the hybrid and the hybrid seemed to have a lot more power to it in comparison. it is odd driving with the engine the getting planted in the seat when I step on the gas. the new EcoBoost felt faster than my 17 but not nearly as fun as the hybrid. and there is only a 30hp difference between them.
Honestly, I have a portable Honda generator that would pretty much serve any and all potential needs I'd have for such a thing. I'll probably pull the trigger on the 3.5L and get it sooner. It will serve me quite well for what I need. It will also allow me to do things I can't right with my VW Passat.
I was told that Hybrids aren't going to ship until later this year if I ordered one today. That's a bummer. I am on the fence about it honestly.
Ouch... Glad I jumped on one that was being delivered to my dealer. Put a deposit on it so they couldn't sell it out from under me. It's now in my driveway

Not so sure I would trust your dealer, I've had mine for almost 2 weeks and it was delayed for 5 weeks after being built at Dearborn. I know of over a dozen more on another site that have received their PowerBoost.
I ordered the PowerBoost more for the increased power and the propower generator than the increased MPGs, that was just gravy.
PowerBoost has 30 more hp than the new Eco but 70 ft pds more torque. Trust me, when I say you can feel that.

Turns out they have them but as a special order, get in line. I like the idea of Hybrid and a little more power but, the MPG issue really is a wash when you crunch numbers. Also, I'll be waiting until May for the one I'm ordering now.
I'll ask again, just for kicks.

I agree with you about the MPG issue but as I said, not why I ordered it, the MPGs were just gravy.
The Hybrid option was $2500 option for a KR. With that I got the upgraded 3.5 Eco from the standard 5.0, Propower with built a built in generator, 30 more hp over the standard Eco and 70 more Ft lb torque. That is a no brainier to me.
As a Bama Tide fan why didn’t you get a red truck? Just curious since a good friend of mine is a Tide fan with a red F150
Roll Tide Baby!! You do know their other jersey color is white?
I just like white, it's hot here during the summers, white is cooler, easier seen on the road and light color vehicles don't' show dirt as bad or scratches/swirl marks.
