So after 5 months they say my 2022 Lariat 502a is in production. Am I to assume it is being built this week?

Probably not, ask your dealer for a vehicle visibility report and it will tell you the build to day.

 

If you got an email from Ford saying it is in production, then it is going down the line this week. Whether it will be finished this week is anybody's guess. My 502A went down the line late January but I didn't get the " Built" email until the end of May. Lately the builds have been going better so I hope yours is one that is finished the same week it is started.

 

Assuming you have a VIN, you can check the build date at the top of your window sticker if it’s available. It could also be built then put on a chip hold and would show as in production

 

That's my order, My truck was "finished" on August 1st but still sitting there.

 

2022 Platinum ordered early May. Just like yours, mine is sitting in a field rotting waiting for chips or a stupid logo. Gave up and bought a 2020 Limited. Love it although I will miss that nice 12" screen the new ones have!

 

Ordered Feb 24, Blended (In Production) July 15th. Still in production. Going on 3 1/2 months. Who know how long shipping will be once built?
