I had my boat trailer all programmed into the truck, worked fine.
Put boat in marina on water back in May, have not used trailer since
this weekend I hook up to trailer to go pull boat out of water (storm might be coming, and its time to clean pontoons)
backup Assist tells me "drive forward to start calibration". WTF.
It still remembers the trailer name, but it forgot the calibration?
So if I don't use the trailer for a coupe months I need to go drive it around in circles to calibrate the software?
What a useless piece of software.
This is a 2022 lariat high package, and according to all the documentation Ford gives me through my dash our ford pass, my last update was received 2/23.
The current trailer has been attached since April 2023 time frame. But than I did have the headlight recall (reprogram) done since than I think.
Someone else reported that the system deleted details on a trailer in an update. I've seen some saved Nav addresses like home deleted. Not seen trailer details deleted though. It may be a 22 thing, not a 21 thing.
