Default Priority Codes - quick question

I've read tons here about the ordering process. After five months and one day into my order without a VIN, my local sales rep emailed me today and said the Ford rep raised my priority code from a 19 to a 2. I know 19 is the worst and this is obviously good news, but just how good? Does this solely speed up me finally getting a VIN? Or does it affect build/blend/ship? Five months with no VIN, so now I'm really wondering what going from a 19 to a 2 means? It's a 22 King Ranch powerboost. I appreciate any info.

I think that is supposed to mean that it is likely to be scheduled soon

Thank you for taking the time to reply. After five months I was hoping your news would be better news. Thanks again.

With your truck not yet scheduled, thinking it might get scheduled soon is as good of news as you can get I think

There's nothing else to give. What are you expecting?

The lower then number, the better. The scheduling system sometimes changes the priority number week to week on its own. By the system setting you to a priority 2, it's trying to force your order to get scheduled.

Unfortunately, the system still takes into account your dealers allocation. Even with a 2, you are not guaranteed a quick scheduling. And the system could adjust you number back up if it feels any of your options won't be available in the future.
