Default Preferred method for installing coilovers

Installing new coil overs tomorrow. I've seen methods of dropping the lower control arm, and others where they loosen the axle etc. Figure I will put on some SPC 86252 bolts/cams while I'm at it so was leaving towards dropping lower arm but wasn't sure if there were any better methods or any tips or tricks to it all. Thanks!

I popped the UCA, tie rods and sway bar when I did mine.

I prefer unbolting the brake hoses and ABS/IWE wires, unbolting the upper ball joint, unbolting the outer tie rod end, removing the axle nut, and pushing the axle out of the hub. When you do the job this way, the alignment is impacted in such a minimal way that you won't have any issues if you drive around for a few days while waiting to get an alignment. I normally use SPC 86250 camber kits, but the 86252 is also a great option to makes things easier for the alignment tech. These trucks can be aligned just fine without a camber kit, but most guys are too lazy to adjust camber/caster and definitely wouldn't try if there were no camber kits installed.
