Smile Powertrain Control Module Reset

Howdy IU am a new member. I am researching a 2021 F150 5.0 4X4 with 117K miles to purchase it. Carfax sez a Ford Dealer jusr did a Powertrain Control Module reset. Why would they need to do this? There is no other repair info on Carfax. Truck was one owner a large sugar company in south Florida.

The previous owner may have had a transmission shifting issues... I reset my 2020 twice a year when the swap summer/winter tires. We also reset the Super Dutys because of the flex fuel % sometimes don't agree with the propane/cng conversions and cause a rich condition.

Some vehicles (not just Fords) need ECU resets or replacements after severe thunderstorms. That’s the first thing that comes to my mind when you mentioned Florida, but it could be for a million reasons. I wouldn’t worry about it.
