Default Powerboosts MPG with Larger Tires?

What sort of fuel mileage are you guys getting with 34"-37" tires on your new Powerboost engines?

If you can list gear ratio and City vs highway split, that would be appreciated as well.

Thanks fellas,

All PB's have the 3.73 rear end?

285x70x20 (34.6") BFG KO2s - no discernable impact on MPG. Get 23-24 in city and 22 highway (doing 65 mph) easily, all in normal mode. No lift or level.

It looks like you can get 3.55, but only on 2WD, I just saw initially it had all the options for rear ratios when using the build/price tool way back when.

That would be a 36.8" tire

And would impact your MPG

Do you mean 285/70/18 which is about a 34.8" tire?

What model and exact size? Pics? Doesn't seem like even that would fit without a level. How did you correct the speedo/odo?

Wow, that's great milage.

I've had my truck a month, I've have 944 miles on it and I just gassed it up for the 2nd time (+ the dealers 1 tank).

Still the stock tire size (275/60 x20), no lift or level, a mix of city and highway driving and I'm only getting 16.8 mpg, driving the speed limit.

That's the Powerboost hybrid?

How did you calc/measure 16.8?

I'm still on my first tank with my Powerboost and getting about the same mileage on a mix of highway and city. I suspect the dealer put 87 octane in the tank. Will fill 'er up with 93 and see if that changes things up.

Sorry I mis-spoke. 285x65x20.

And even a 285x70x20 is only a 35.7" tire: https://tiresize.com/calculator/

What model tire do you have? Did you correct the speedometer and odometer and how?

So you fit 285/65/20 on a stock truck with no level or mods at all? Pics?
