I ordered a Lariat Powerboost in late August 2021. In September, I was notified that it had been rolled into a 2022. What are the odds it will be one of the trucks stored in Ford parking lots while there were no microchips? Has the rust issue been resolved?

 

As far as I know, it can't happen. They have been built and have a VIN for 2021. Ford would have to put a new VIN on the truck to sell it as a MY22. I doubt Ford can legally do that.
