Powerboost Payload - for real

vulnox,
Copy that. It also looks like in 21 Ford increased payload for all of the F150 flavors but, except for the payload issue, we really like the truck. We thought our TT would max tongue at around 800 so the 918# (measured with a Sherline) was a sobering moment. We load carefully and the 3.5 with the 3:55 tows very well. Sure, there are moments I wish we had a longer bed for more payload and greater stability but so far, no really scary moments. Besides, the short bed "just" fits in the garage!

Lariat 502A, 5.5', Max Tow, 360, no moon, with my peragon installed
with my fatass in the seat, I've got 1100 useable
assuming the scales at the dump are accurate.

This actually doesn't help anyone. No one knows how heavy your fatass is, or how heavy the tonneau is, if you give your sticker number it will help other people.

The 302a is no slouch it has what it needs to be a truck.
Have had a 16 501a 2.7, towing, 18 502a & 19 701a with max tow, Now have a 21 XLT 302a Power Boost with towing with 1640#'s of payload.
Knew with in the first hour of the 3.5 hour return trip the decision was right, and each and every time driving this truck the same enjoyment returns.
As for towing the Power Boost is a beast that gets about the same mileage as the Max Tows did.
In normal mode towing the smaller loads the Power Boost out preforms the the Max Tows mileage wise, and was even better than the 2.7.
It's the in-between normal driving mileage that makes this combination shine.
And yes NO more lugging around a gen-set, it is now all in the truck.
And the best part the first summer in one heck of a long time with no squirming around and sticking to a seat with a worthless cooling / venting system.
