Default power window lock

so I just got my windows tinted yesterday. the tint place selected the lock window switch and put tape over the drivers controls. To my surprise my wife rolled down the passenger window even though it was locked. My question is does the selector only lock the back door windows and not the front door windows?

I just reviewed my pdf copy of the owners manual. The way I’m understanding, it seems the window lock only locks the rear windows. I just had my windows tinted as well.

My wife did the same and I wondered the same. It seems to be the way it is.
