Possible electrical gremlin
I have a 22 STX 4WD. I have two reoccurring but infrequent issues that seem electrical in nature. First, a random chime, as if the keys are left in the ignition, while I am driving. No warning indicators, no messages, does the little ring for about 4 cycles and stops. Second, I have attempted to unlock my doors with the key fob and it will not do anything. Like it does not recognize any function with the key fob. I have to go into Ford pass and unlock the doors that way, then it works perfectly from the fob as well. This one has only happened twice in 11 months. Obviously due to the infrequency, the dealer can not duplicate it to begin diagnosis. Has anyone on here experienced this and eventually had it fixed?
