Dealers aren't ordering this combo for stock. Bad combo? Does Carmelo have a "basketball" look to the color?
I don't why they are not ordering it. It think it's freaking gorgeous and I love mine. It very rich looking and warm. Blends with the piping and stitching.
Its the reason I got the Platinum instead if the Limited.
I think dealers order mostly black interiors are easier to sell being more generic and some ppl are totally into blk on blk.
I have seen it on a white dealer stock unit and I like it. But admit, I have not seen too many stock units with this interior. I have a AMB one due in within the next couple of weeks and really looking forward to it. I do not think it has a basketball color to it. The black interior was the safe interior for dealer stock especially with the lack of a sample and since the pictures seam to very so much. I think you also have to be careful what exteriors you pair it with.
There is only one Platinum that's "built" within 100 miles with Carmelo and it's really not equipped close enough to what I want. I'm all black in my Ram. Probably go all black. I don't want to deal with all of the build delays for chips and whatever else.
Well, it's different. Prefer the Dark Marsala, but it's better than the every day black. One thing for sure, if your dog has the Mus-Turds and drops a squat on the back seat, it will blend in.
My order got delayed and my lease was ending so I had to find a F150 on a lot. I wanted Powerboost and Platinum. Only one truck was available in my entire state and it was black exterior and Carmelo interior. It wasn't my first pick but black exterior I can deal with, I've had 3 previous black cars/trucks and was fine with dedication of always having to wash it or have it look dirty. For interior though, I have always had black interior in every one of my cars. From the pictures online, I REALLY didn't want the Carmelo. I really had no choice but to go with it sight unseen or wait until another Platinum PB comes in, so I just went with it. When I got it delivered, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it looks in person. Its the kind of interior that anytime anyone rides in the car, first thing they say is how much they love it, it makes a great first impression. I'm very glad I was forced into the change now.

I just noticed my seatbacks look different than those?
