After a '98 Mustang GT, a, 2002 Exploder, a 2011 F 150, and then a 2015 f150, they finally sent one.

Now the dealer is telling me as I order it, it's only available when the vehicle arrives. I thought this PCO goes through VINCENT, and is handled that way. Is that the case? Would like some recent feedback from anyone ordering a '23.

 

I'm curious how it works if I can get one.
I've been clicking on everything trying to sign up for all the marketing BS and no luck getting one.

 

PCO's will have a date you have to use it by. When I got mine, it was good for 2.5 months based on the date I received it and the date it expired. I was able to find a truck 3-4 weeks before it expired and I was able to use it. Yes, it does go through SmartVincent, but the dealer will not be able to claim it if they try to do it after it expires. I am not sure if it is possible for you (or the dealer) to contact Ford with the order number and ask for an extension on the PCO past the expiration date.

 

I ordered mine and presented my pco when I ordered it. I was told by the sales manager that it would be honored when my truck arrived even if in got there after the expiration date. It came in and I took delivery 3
days prior to the expiration date.

 

My PCO specifies it is valid if you order or buy during the covered period.

 

Mine was added at time of order and it's been 7 months since I ordered the truck.

 

Same (back when I ordered in Feb of '22 and truck arrived in Oct)
