this issue was in my last sync 3 vehicle as well
if i have pandora ON and logged in on my phone, before i start the truck , it will show up in the APP page on the sync 4 and i have all my presets
if i log in after i start truck, the app is gone and have to use my phone as source to run pandora and then i cant use my presets as they are on the phone and i cant drive and try to navigate pandora.

anyone know why pandora has issues.
i tried telling truck to upload pandora from my phone to add in the apps page, to no avail

 

Android auto or CarPlay? I just get in my truck and pandora starts playing. All my stations are displayed on the screen. I have an iPhone and never log into pandora.

i dont like android auto as it tends to try to take over every time i get in either vehicle, that's a personal preference as many like android auto

pandora has done this with my 16 exp, 21 250, 12 edge and now the 22 f150
if i leave phone in truck and shut the truck off, lock doors and come back after a bit, it will resume right where the song left off as it nothing happened.

 

Depending how up to date your Sync4 and FordPass app is I believe ford has silently removed its mobile app feature. This means you are limited to either Apple CarPlay, Android Auto or Amazon Alexa. You can verify this by opening FordPass and seeing if “Apps” or “Mobile Apps” is still a feature. “Apps” will still show in your Sync4 but it’ll only show FordPass, Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and the app catalog will either not exist or be blank.
