Hi everyone,

I broke the step cover on my 2016 and found an entire new assembly for sale and bought it. My plan was to transfer the step cover only onto my truck but when I took it off the newly purchased unit, the button stayed in place but the cover came off. On my truck, the button goes off with the cover. No big deal I thought, Ford must have made a revision. I installed the new assembly onto my truck, but then I noticed the cover was different with a slight curvature on both sides unlike the rectangular shape found on my truck.

Can someone please confirm if I purchased a 2021 step assembly? Also, does anyone have a picture of their outer tailgate moulding off to see if I can buy a 2021 moulding for my 2016? Thank you very much.
