Default Is this normal... intake pipe indentation

So I was changing my oil last night and its been 5k miles or so since I looked under the hood and noticed this nice dent in the air intake pipe.. is that normal? I'm usually pretty observant and just don't remember it being that way. I've never climbed into my engine bay nor has anyone else so im baffled as to how it got that way if its not supposed to be there.

That “dent” accommodates the second coolant reservoir used on the hybrid model. Same part used on both ICE only and hybrid models
