Is This Normal??
Just got a 2024 Powerboost and I have noticed a few odd things that I am not sure are 'Normal' but first I wanted to see if anyone has experienced the Oil Life monitor not holding the setting? Truck has 12k miles on it and when I test drove it the Oil Change notification popped up. Salesman said they just changed the oil and the guys must have forgot to reset it. I confirmed they placed a sticker on the windshield so thought nothing of it. Reset it and took it home. Over the next few days the warning kept coming up. The first time I second guessed myself about the reset, but now it seems to be happening every other day. I reset it, confirm it says 100%, then it goes to 0% again after a few start ups. Anyone hear of anything like that?
My other "Is this normal" questions are:
* With the rain sensing wipers, I always leave them on and when I start the truck up they do a single wipe. This is with a bone dry windshield. Seems odd as it doesn't do it all the time. It does this with and without the 'courtesy wipe' on or off. Is that normal?
* Seatbelt warning. When my wife and I get in the truck the little 'X' show up on the screen over our seats. We buckle up and they go green but the screen stays up until I hit the OK button. Is that normal?

Next time, just drive off, it will go away, you shouldn't have to hit Okay, that's how it works in my 2024. You may have older SW too with some bugs. I'd go back to the dealer and make them update your truck to the latest SW version or at least prove it is updated already.

Go into setting a change the courtesy wipe setting to off.
Oil monitor have no idea what's going on there. Just remembered make sure when doing the reset all doors are closed and everything is in proper order. Then wait before opening any doors or make any changes for the reset to be logged into the memory.
Did have a 21 PB and did the oil changes at 5k miles which related approximately to +/-1000 electric and +/- 4000 ice. My thought on the process was the frequent start stop of the ICE one should change oil more frequent than a person normally would.
