Default Noise ID

OK, east coast, in the teens recently.
Pulled over twice for weird noise, after 2nd or 3rd acceleration from stoplights.
Sounded like an empty quart bottle tied to and bouncing in fender well, or maybe lower passenger door area (nothing in pockets).
Despite cold, there were no chunks of ice around - it was like some system (cooling, heater, elec?) suddenly needed to make noise.
I was by myself, just filled up, RCSB

Anyone else? Thoughts?

I've personally had melted snow in my wheels re-freeze and cause a noise you describe.
