No phone keypad when using Android Auto?
Got my first phone call on the truck today, but since they called my home phone (which also rings my cell phone) I had to hit "1" to accept the call.
Couldn't find anywhere on the screen to hit 1 - got home, checked the owner manual, & I see the phone button at the bottom of the screen is replaced by the Android Auto button when using Android Auto.
Unless I'm missing something, it looks like you can't access the phone keypad on the screen unless you're NOT running Android Auto?
I also had no luck adding Phone to my favorites button - thought that would be a good way to bring up the keypad, but doesn't look like Phone is an option (or at least not when Android Auto is running).
Anybody run across this - got a good / quick way to bring up the keypad when Android Auto is running?

You were rolling. No texting and driving. It's a feature not a bug

Nah...that dog ain't gonna hunt - I was playing with it in my driveway.
Went into the phone functions to see where you turn Android Auto off - of course, there is nothing as simple / straightforward as ON / OFF.
Another case of "why use 2 words when you can use 20?"
Going to have to go back in & spend more time to determine exactly which switch simply turns Android Auto OFF.
One thing Ford did right on the infotainment display was add all those ?'s to the right of all the items on the various lists.
Gives one more insight into exactly changing a setting will do or what the consequences are for doing so.
Was trying to get away from having to scramble for my phone in order to hit 1 on the keypad to accept calls & also not have the phone in a holder (tying up one cup holder) etc.

Android auto click on it and it will shut off.
I did go thru settings - the ON / OFF switch for Android Auto is not labeled - guessing that was what it was.
Last trip out, the phone button was there.
A bit of a pain as I'd like the option of using Android Auto & still have quick access to the keypad, but I see in the below related thread someone said Google wants you using voice commands to make phone calls so they don't display the keypad in Android Auto.
Mebbe so, but I wonder if you just have to tell Google to "dial 1" to accept an incoming call?
Trying to figure out the truck & a new phone - my trusty LG G4 was so old / had no operating system updates that apps were starting to not work & audio on phone calls thru the truck sounded terrible.
