What do you guys do/use, when your truck does not come with a center console.

I have a 2021 F-150 XL Supercab 5.0 Long bed 4x4. So the bottom of the jump seat has storage. There'a the divided and large door pockets. There's the shelf under the screen/heating&cooling controls. There's the in dash flip up door storage, and the traditional glove box below it. What more do you need? The access behind the back seat opens up a lot more.

But there are threads where people have added the flip up top storage to the jump seat if that's what you want. Did not look too hard to add

Hope this helps.

Lucky you. I remember not to long ago when Ford put the fold down console in an Extended Cab Lariat, not any more. I prefer the fold down console

Six seater for the win!. Plenty of room to spread out without being cramped by the center console. An open floorboard with cross access. Mine has the workstation table and it is great for a laptop or lunch or anything. There is plenty of storage under the unit that isn't visible by anyone, that is great also. Put your keys, wallet, etc down there.

I am surprised more people don't opt for it. It really is way more roomy when the seat is up and the bench is open across the cab.

I think you guys miss the point, +1 on front bench, a must for me. But OP’s issue is there is no open lid/storage on the armrest.

My '13 XLT had the jump seat. Almost embarrassed to admit it...but I didn't even know about the storage area under the jump seat until after about a year and a half of ownership.... Actually found it by accident and thought....wow...!

There is no open lid storage for the bench seat. They put it under the center fold up seat/arm rest. I guess to answer the question, we just use that.
