New Ford Pass ap terms
I stopped reading the TOS' about three years ago. It's their version of pay-to-play. You want our service? Give us your data.
One thing I've found useful is giving our landline phone number when filing out forms. No one I want to speak with calls me on the land line anymore. Then when telemarketers gear up and bombard us, we ignore the land line and turn the ringer off. The cell phone remains (reasonably) free of spam calls. Bonus: several years ago I transferred the land line to an online company, so it costs about $40/year. Money well spent!

Yep. This is across all industries. And in all honesty, what do you think said companies are going to do with your data that will be directly harmful to you (aside from letting someone steal it an sell it on the dark web, but all of our info is already there).
