3/9 Ford issued VIN and set production for week of 4/8/24

I ordered my Platinum PB on 9/26, right after the order books opened. Order confirmation immediately. Got a build date of 3/18 on 1/25.

Yesterday it showed moved into production and I now have a window sticker. Looks like the higher trims are starting to move. Fingers crossed.

Just ordered a STX FX4 5.0L Friday Mar. 08, 2024 from our local dealer. We live in a very small town so now I'm wondering if I should have went to a larger city to place my order. Oh well time will tell.

if the small dealer has the allocation then you would be better there since a larger dealer might have more orders pushing yours out

My 1/11 build no longer has an ETA and has been sitting offsite since 1/25.

Meanwhile everything getting built this week is getting shipped in a matter of days. Looks like a repeat of the last few years. Screw over all the early orders.

Well it's real now, just got an email with my Order number from Ford. And of course signed up for text so I'll not miss anything. It says to expect an update with in the next 45 days. and they will notify me when placed on the production schedule. I'm assuming this is all pretty standard.

Ordered mine last November. Dealer said 6 to 8 months. According to the emails from Ford. My truck will begin building next week. Will update once I take delivery on how long it took.

I got an order number and a build date of May 27.

I received an email saying it would go into production on April 29 but I’ve not heard anything since. I did get a VIN.
