Can anyone recommend a slip on console cover that fits a console with the work surface? Amazon has a ton of them but they mention if it works with work surface. Now with warmer weather nearly here I don't want my massive sweaty arms staining the console.

 

My brother has one in his '19, but it's homemade. I think it's a towel with some elastic straps sewn in. I'm thinking of trying that myself. I have a towel that has a suitable shade of brown to match my interior. I want to swing by the local Sprawl Mart to see if I can find some elastic and perhaps cobble something up. My truck has the workstation so I will take that into considweration.

I have also seen some on FakeBook but the colors and pattern don't match the interior of a King Ranch. I have no idea of the quality of those, though. Plus I don't think those take into account the work surfacwe consoles.

I'm also curious to hear what others may suggest.

I went ahead and bought this one and it works. Its not a custom tailored look but it will get the job done.

This is what I am using. My wife is a manager at the local grocery store...and this pad is a "Coffee Mat" made by Royal Crest home products. I suppose it's for sitting in front of your coffee maker to keep drips from getting on the countertop when you pour your coffee .
Anyway...I had some elastic bands sitting around in my garage, and it worked perfect for securing the mat on my console lid. My interior is Baja Tan...and I know my sweaty arm would discolor it in no time...and this works perfect. Console lid folds forward just fine when I need the workspace.

Cost around $5....so pretty affordable .

 

I purchased a cool gel seat pad and set it on top. It fits in there just right and doesn’t slide around. I guess you could use some VELCRO if needed. It raises your arm up some but I’ve found it to be very comfortable. I paid around $24 for it at O’Reilly Auto Parts. I may look into finding a thinner one to try out as well.
