These are the normal size. I felt like with being stock the xl would have been too much.

Look at post 14 above, blue truck. The angle in my pics do make them look a little lower than what they are. However, they aren’t much lower than the non retracting running boards. Plus being that close to the tire helps, but yes it could be a problem. Mostly only in deep mud or snow. I go off-road all the time in sand and regular hard pack dirt and it’s never been a problem. They do have a little give as well.

used ford point and got the ford front and rear flaps, easy to go on and i expect will last

i usually use the weather tech no drill, but these fit the bill and were a gimme
