It happens in my supercharged truck as well, and that one has a TrueTrac LSD, which basically locks when you are on the power in any significant ways. And then it revs and holds the gear in the ridiculous unresponsive manner that, as you mentioned, shouldn't happen in a vehicle with that much computing power......and it only happens from a tight turn from a dead stop. I consider this a software glitch, as there isn't a reason for the full second the truck "acts stupid" after.

In 2wd it's a full on gong show under the same circs.....so I suppose we should count our blessings.

Sounds like more of a 2WD problem to me, lol, that's a donut and getting hit by oncoming traffic in 2WD or nothing but traction control getting you rear ended because it cut all the power

4A is still the best for traction, control, and the truck doing what you want in that situation

I drove the police responder F-150 on a formula 1 track for an emergency vehicle demo. The ford reps had us run them in 4a the whole time. No issues going 120mph on the track. These trucks ran all day during the event.

We bought a couple and now have over 25k hard miles on them running 4a the whole time. No issues with reliability.
